About Azure Sky Films

Azure Sky Films (ASF) is an adult film production company started by Harry Grey. Harry first began producing films in late 2017 and at the ripe old age of 71 incorporated ASF in January 2018. It is the fulfillment of a long held, personal dream of Harry to be able to explore different aspects of BDSM sexual practices both personally and professionally.

ASF produces adult films of multiple genres but focuses on variations of BDSM including some fetishes. Despite the ironic tag line of “A Purveyor of Porn for Prurient Pursuits” – alliteration for marketing purposes – there is an underlying intellectual and psychological aspect to all the films. The overarching theme to all ASF films is Harry’s long held intellectual intrigue with the psychological, emotional and physical interaction of pleasure and pain. Harry describes this phenomenon as the “Pleasure Pain Paradox”.

Harry’s personal and professional  fascination with the “Pleasure Pain Paradox” is constantly being explored through his films. Indeed, the content of the films is specifically designed to create the necessary conditions for the actors to be both aroused by sexual pleasure and to be inflicted with pain. Because in the films, it is the actors who are the focal point of Harry’s exploration.

In the films, it is the actors who intimately feel this interaction between sexual pleasure and physical pain. How the one modulates and tempers the other. It is the actors themselves who are the explorers of this paradox. And it is because of this that Harry seeks to gain deeper insights into the paradox through on camera interviews of the actors both before and after a film and also through off camera conversation. While not possible in every instance these interviews and conversations are a principal feature of Harry’s exploration into the “Pleasure Pain Paradox”.

Azure Sky Films, Harry Grey and the actors desire to fulfill the entertainment choices of the adult viewer in a responsible manner. At the same time Harry also seeks to gain a deeper understanding of the psychology of the actors who most intimately experience the “Pleasure Pain Paradox”.
